Key Insights and Information
What kind of support and maintenance do you offer?
We offer multiple levels of support depending on your maintenance contract. The first level of maintenance support involves training the instructors to perform basic maintenance through our Train the Trainer course. The second level of maintenance support is performed by us and includes system checks twice a year and general spare parts changes when needed.
How do Guardiaris simulators connect to each other?
We use secure and encrypted 4G/5G, satellite technology (e.g. Starlink), etc., connections.
How do Guardiaris simulators connect to third party solutions?
We offer connections through HLA (High Level Architecture v3 or v4). However, a common FOM (Federation Object Model) has to be agreed between both parties.
How long does a system setup take?
System setup can take anywhere from one day to two weeks, depending on the complexity of the system in question. Plug-and-play solutions can be set up very quickly, while large custom simulator constellations require more time and coordination to complete.
Is it necessary to calibrate the system after setup?
Our weapon replicas are user-specific, just like real weapons, and need calibration (zeroing) to ensure precise training suited to each individual.
Can we integrate new weapons into the simulation system later?
Yes, our weapon replicas are a plug-and-play solution that allows for quick and easy integration even later in the lifespan of a simulator.
What is the warranty for your products?
12-24months, depending on the product. Extended warranty available.
What happens when the warranty on your products expires?
After warranty expiration, Guardiaris offers personalised maintenance support plans and mid-life upgrades tailored to your needs and simulator choice.
Do you organise training for the use and maintenance of your systems, and how long does it take?
Yes, our train-the-trainer programs usually take from 1 to 2 weeks to complete and are organised by demand to train operators how to use and maintain our systems. We also organise short update-related courses for advanced users when new content or updates are released.
