Guardiaris and Otokar Join Forces in Strategic Collaboration Agreement

Guardiaris has signed a strategic collaboration agreement with Otokar, Turkey's largest vehicle manufacturer. The agreement aims to strengthen the partners’ commitment to innovation and collaboration in the field of vehicle simulation solutions.

The cooperation brings together the expertise and capabilities of both organizations, paving the way for joint projects, advanced product development, and the opportunity for market expansion. Together, the partners will continue to develop simulators for Otokar’s military vehicles, exchange technical and commercial know-how, and collaborate in the fields of R&D and innovative technologies.

“Otokar and Guardiaris have had a productive partnership for quite some time,” said Kaan Sükun, Military Vehicles Sales Manager at Otokar, for STA. “Today, with the agreement we signed, we are taking this cooperation to a new level. Together, we aim to develop innovative defence technologies and tailor them to the needs of different countries.”

Otokar is a subsidiary of Koc Holding, Turkey’s largest business conglomerate. Founded in 1963 as Turkey’s first bus manufacturing company, it started developing military vehicles in the 1980s. For over 16 years, Otokar has been the leading brand of mass transit vehicles in Turkey and several other countries in Central Asia, and its products are actively used in 60 countries around the world.

Guardiaris and Otokar have been working together successfully for several years, with the new strategic agreement serving to further elevate their collaboration. Otokar recently placed an order for the development of a simulator for the Cobra II tactical vehicles. Previously, Guardiaris has supplied a simulator for the Arma 8x8 armoured vehicle for an African client.
