This week, Guardiaris representatives were invited to participate in two important international events. We visited Spain's international defence conference FEINDEF 2025 in Madrid, invited by the Directorate-General for Defence Industry and Space (DG DEFIS), and the third European Defence Innovation Days (EDID) organised by the European Defence Agency in Krakow, Poland, connecting defence innovators across Europe.
At FEINDEF 2025, we represented the promising development project TRAVISMOS, of which Guardiaris is the lead partner, coordinating a consortium of international stakeholders. The project aims to provide a container-based,multi-role, multi-weapon military training solution with non-contact monitoring of trainees' vital signs, all powered by an integrated renewable energy source. The international community recognised its importance to the future of military training and simulation at the event, even garnering attention from leading simulation and training giants. With taking on more international R&D projects each year, this is a big step in the right direction for Guardiaris, opening up possibilities for future collaboration.
On the other side of the continent, in Poland, we proudly showcased our work on National R&D projects initiated by the Slovenian MOD. Along with other prominent Slovenian defence industry players at the booth, such as Carboteh and Strix, they are strengthening Slovenia's position as a powerful innovator and strategic partner. In the last few years, Slovenia has shown great strides in reinvigorating its defence industry and self-reliance in this field, and Guardiaris is proud to be a part of this successful reinvigoration. As part of the EDID's Tech Talks, our Business Development Manager, Kim Sevšek, unveiled the GUARD Graphics Engine, the only European-made military simulation engine on the market, and outlined our role in other important projects realised under the national R&D program, such as VEPKOV, MANGART 25, SPIKE LR Trainer Compatible Upgrade Kit, etc.
As the defence industry in Europe goes through a kind of Renaissance, and the whole continent strives for greater self-reliance and resilience to emerging threats, it's important to direct a portion of this new influx of talent and funds towards researching new technologies. Guardiaris is committed to advancing this technology and pushing the boundaries of how our troops enhance their readiness through collaborative research projects, focusing on delivering advanced solutions with broad applications.
