Ljubljana, Slovenia – 03.10.2025 – Helsing, Europe’s fastest-growing defence tech company, and Guardiaris, a leader in military training and simulation, are partnering to transform drone operator training and accelerate next-gen product development.
The collaboration focuses on improving training effectiveness for Helsing’s HX-2 AI Strike Drone while advancing simulation capabilities to support future innovation.
With drone operations becoming increasingly central to modern defence, ensuring mission readiness is more critical—and more complex—than ever. Traditional training methods struggle to keep pace due to high costs, environmental concerns, and the non-reusability of strike drones.
Guardiaris brings deep expertise and its in-house developed GUARD™ simulation engine to the table, offering a proven platform for immersive training, synthetic data set generation, and real-time simulation updates. Together with Helsing’s hardware and advanced systems, the two companies are building a next-level training solution for the HX-2.
By introducing advanced simulators, the solution dramatically reduces training costs and logistics while improving outcomes and shortening development cycles through the use of digital twins and synthetic environments.
Beyond operator training, this technology also supports the integration of new systems into military doctrine—allowing for faster, safer, and more flexible testing of innovations across allied forces.
In a time of growing geopolitical complexity, this partnership marks another step toward stronger, sovereign European defence capabilities—driven by collaboration between two of the region’s most forward-looking tech leaders.
